Hi, Wei Ling here. For the performance, I have an idea, but I don't know if it's ok with everyone. If there's no better choice then you can use my idea. My idea is like: we can use Elmo's song as our melody. It's not the REAL song titled elmo's song, it's the one from Sesame Street. The one that goes: [Lalalala lalalala Elmo's world...... Lalalala lalalala Elmo's world...... Elmo loves his goldfish, his crayons too...... That's Elmo's world! lalalalalalalala...... ] So we can change the words a bit. This is a picture of the correct way you should put shoulder flash
Step 1:When you receive ur shoulder flash and buttons, take out the shoulder flash, the black ones with the words st john Singapore on them.
P.S
Ur are supposed to iron ur st john uniform, you guys know right? Anyways, if you have not ironed them, please go and iron them! It is very important.
Step 2: After you have ironed the st john uniform blouse, there is a line at the shoulder , at the sleeves there right? An ironing line. Like after you iron there is a line at each of the shoulders, right?
Step 3:measure 4 cm( the length where the pc is holding) from the shoulder line.
Step 4:after doing that, place one of ur shoulder flash one the place where it is 4cm from the shoulder line.
Step 5: below the shoulder flash is the press studs right?(the silver buttons) mark out where the press studs are with a pencil after you have placed them on the uniform.
Step 6: do it for the other shoulder too.
Step 7: there are two sides to the press studs. Take out the outer one which is not sewed on to the shoulder flash and sew them on to the places where you have marked out with a pencil. If you can’t sew, ask your mother to help you sew it on, properly.
This is the wrong way of doing it!!!
Do NOT NOT NOT follow this way
And remember to sew the shoulder flash on with the “St John Singapore” words facing outwards NOT inwards.

As for the buttons, can you see at the neckline or whatever you call it of the uniform, there is this button hole.
Step 1: take out the ring from the button.
Step 2: put the thing that is jutting out from the button at the button hole from the picture shown above.
Step 3:put the ring back at the hole jutting out from the button.
Step 4: as for the button hole at the black part of the uniform(the picture shown above), push it OVER the button so it would look like this:

people~~countdown only like 3 days to POP drill!!please put in like EFFORT?take it seriously! dont sabo anyone la, one time only~~ONE TIME~make it the last time also la..no one in the world is like perfect one lor.but at least, CLOSE to perfect! don't disappoint our PC okay, she like 辛辛苦苦help us. and thn we nvr do properly..ayah, don't disappoint everyone!! like if we don't do the POP properly, the yellow badge will be like damn sad la..let thm leave sj wif at least memorable memories?okay, what crap am i saying._.but people, MUST JIAYOU!!cannot give up!! must jiayou!!3days still got time to work hard on everything.DON'T STONE!!jiayou laaaa. JTC was FUN :Di was having the withdrawal symptoms yesterday haha luckily xinrong helped me a bit by smsing me =PPOP drills! 9am-12am next Friday. Everybody had better shout as loud as you can and point down lift 90 degrees! as what rachael pung said don't sabo our seniors and as what the mdms said, don't sabo the PC! must SHOUT SHOUT SHOUT like mad! my mother say i come back from JTC my voice sound so hoarse haha:P because i shout too much.we are not really up to standard because like, some squaddies just don't want to shout. and don't want to be alert. PLEASE shout! and don't STONE! give the mdms the best POP ever so that they can leave with happy hearts or something! don't let them pass down thinking that we are a joke or something! it's really vehh sad that they are passing down already! and we never even spend alot of time with them! even though they fierce and everything but all for our own good! and like, they vehh nice lohh. you can see from the way they bother to shout at us, the way they help us when our uniform out of place, the way they talk to us........i already missing them T_T i can't believe i CRIED when they said, "we will miss you too".....sighhsi mean just SHOUT SHOUT SHOUT SHOUT SHOUT! don't tell me you cannot shout lahh! shouting is just like........shouting! and anybody needs help in the POP drills or something can ask your fellow squaddies! and if your squaddies need help, help them out! we are ONE SQUAD together. if one person not good, everybody is not good.we must stay united as one!i think im giving a speech or something lol.HAPPY BLESSED BIRTHDAY TO GENIE AND JINGYI(:hope Genie has a fun time laughing about ahhems and jingyi has a fun time going crazy lols(:and yes, wenjie i am aching like SIAO yesterday cannot even walk properly and feel so sleepy!BFA was scary seriously....................................must come for last footdrills session!!!! practise at home ur bang if you must(:<3333333>

Hello squadmates,Did all of you rest well?? Well, I did. Okay all of you must have muscles aching right? No? Then you're lucky.Okay. Just to remind all of you that there will be foot drill next friday from 9am to 12pm. When you come to school den you will know where issit alr. You can either wear your sj shirt or pe attire. Be punctual, attendance will be taken. If you can, practice yourself at home, alot of you need to really buck up kay. Not that I'm mean okay. Do it once, do it well. You know who you are. The seniors are very tired alr and we're not improving. must really remember the steps. Its very easy you know. JUST TRY OKAY.As for the dedication speech, its NOT INDIVIDUAL, its a squad speech. So I was thinking that we meet up on Monday during recess at 11am meet at level bench and we shall brainstorm wad we should write, okay? You guys can think of ideas at home too. The faster the better. And it cannot be very long as each squad only have 20secs. Must talk faster. HELLO SEC ONES!
okay this is what you all are supposed to wear/do before you report for JTC on thurs:
all SEC ONES are to report in HALF UNIFORM, which includes: SEASONED beret, hairnet, SJ TEE (not blouse) with nametag on the right side, belt, skirt, socks and POLISHED boots
Come to school wearing PT kit (sj tee/pe tee, school shorts, school shoes) and keep your skirt in your uniform cover (do not fold your uniform!). Also don't wear boots to school
ONLY change into half U when you reach school as it is advised not to wear the SJ uniform in public. Wear your skirt over your school shorts when you change.
REMEMBER to bring all the other parts of your uniform!
FALL IN at 8am:) dont be late! See you on thurs!

You do not need to bring your 1.5 litre bottle, but if you drink alot, you can bring of course=D. Pls do remember to come!!! Hello squadmates,Did all of you rest well?? Well, I did. Okay all of you must have muscles aching right? No? Then you're lucky.Okay. Just to remind all of you that there will be foot drill next friday from 9am to 12pm. When you come to school den you will know where issit alr. You can either wear your sj shirt or pe attire. Be punctual, attendance will be taken. If you can, practice yourself at home, alot of you need to really buck up kay. Not that I'm mean okay. Do it once, do it well. You know who you are. The seniors are very tired alr and we're not improving. must really remember the steps. Its very easy you know. JUST TRY OKAY.As for the dedication speech, its NOT INDIVIDUAL, its a squad speech. So I was thinking that we meet up on Monday during recess at 11am meet at level bench and we shall brainstorm wad we should write, okay? You guys can think of ideas at home too. The faster the better. And it cannot be very long as each squad only have 20secs. Must talk faster. hello squaddies(:oli here.JTC is coming! haha and so is BFA:(ahhhh i keep thinking i will fail........actually, i will fail o_0uhh dunno if im supposed to look forward to it but i managed to label my things without a masking tape(: hahaand i have to bring two HEAVY and BIG bags because not enough SPACE!!!! HELLO SEC ONES!
okay this is what you all are supposed to wear/do before you report for JTC on thurs:
all SEC ONES are to report in HALF UNIFORM, which includes: SEASONED beret, hairnet, SJ TEE (not blouse) with nametag on the right side, belt, skirt, socks and POLISHED boots
Come to school wearing PT kit (sj tee/pe tee, school shorts, school shoes) and keep your skirt in your uniform cover (do not fold your uniform!). Also don't wear boots to school
ONLY change into half U when you reach school as it is advised not to wear the SJ uniform in public. Wear your skirt over your school shorts when you change.
REMEMBER to bring all the other parts of your uniform!
FALL IN at 8am:) dont be late! See you on thurs!

hello squadmates, remember to come for foot drill on monday from 2 to 5pm. You can wear either SJ shirt or PE shirt. You do not need to bring your 1.5 litre bottle, but if you drink alot, you can bring of course=D. Pls do remember to come!!!
